On Friday, December 18th, we held our annual Operation Adopt/Thank You presentation for service members and their families. This is our favorite day of the year!
We gave presents and all the fixings for a big holiday meal to more than 40 families from 3d SFG(A), 7th SFG(A), and 1-508th PIR.
We set out the presents above (and more), along with all the food items, so everyone could quickly and easily gather their goodies and get home to start their holiday vacation.
We had several soldiers and Foundation volunteers, including Sheryl Harriman (Steve's wife, pictured above) and Shelia Harriman (Stan's widow), helping to set out the gifts and prepare all the food.
Stan's son, Christopher, helps Steve fill the bags, while Emily Holliday prepares the food for packaging.
