Stan had a vision for his life, or as we always joked "Stan has a plan." He wanted to provide the best for his family. He wanted to be the best soldier. He wanted to help his fellow man. Above all, he wanted to serve God. In his 34 years, he did all of these things impeccably. Stan's life was cut short on March 2nd, 2002, while doing what he loved, serving his country as a Special Forces soldier. Stan gave his life in an effort to save others. His bravery and experience saved many lives, but not his own.
We, the officers of this foundation, wish to pursue "Stan's Plan" by developing the "Stan The Man" Foundation. Our main objective is to provide immediate assistance for the families of fallen soldiers, and to help other soldiers and their families who are experiencing difficult times. We want to do this, because these are the things that Stan believed in. Stan lived a great, albeit short, life. Through this foundation he will continue to be great and his memory will live forever. |
